I wish I could write and tell you all about it.
The lights, the confetti, the faces of my family at the television studio, and my sister, radiant on stage, when it came down to the final two in this year’s Miss Singapore-Universe beauty pageant.
As a writer, I want to wax eloquent about her win; as a journalist, my instinct is to whip out my notebook and start making calls.
But right now, right now, I am neither writer nor reporter, but a proud brother, beaming for the last hour, wishing I could be home to give my sis a well-deserved hug.

She’s your sis!!!??? What are the odds! I watched the entire pageant — she and Jessica were miles ahead of the other contestants. And now I *do* kinda see the family resemblance =)

hah! yknow I watched the first tv round before my last trip and I thought your little sis had so much more poise than the other girls! I’m so glad.

That’s awesome. She really is beautiful. So’s your mom, for that matter. And if she’s anything like you, I’m sure her inner beauty matches or exceeds that of her gorgeous exterior.
