Toaster, meet Couch.
Robin Raj’s Discount Store
The Indian man who sold me this toaster today on 14th and 3rd was barely comprehensible. I am sure he felt the same way about me. How do you describe toaster to someone who doesn’t understand what the word means?
“Toaster! Bread, hot, ding! Crispirunch! Yummm…”
My errands today are almost complete. For tomorrow’s breakfast, I’m planning to serve Rusty some nice (Crispirunch!) whole wheat toast with a selection of butter, honey and blueberry preserves. On the side, a bowl of organic raspberries, a cup of freshly squeezed carrot juice and some coffee.
The couch seems to be warming up to the toaster.

“Crispirunch!” what a perfect description of toast in any language! Jesse’s breakfast sounds amazing.

Gosh, I had walls of that exact shade back in college… hmm a trip to the paint shop for me might be in order.
Your place looks lovely, glad you guys are settling in well =) Love the lil table the toaster is on.

Well, I suppose it’s all right, but can the toaster and sofa reconcile their religious differences?

Did Jesse get his color scheme from reading Auntie Mame? I know that sounds silly, but I remember when I first read the novel, and the description of her bedroom struck me as so original.
I love orange(or is it Tangerine?) and black.

Patry: Jesse didn’t have his breakfast in the end, because of the fever. But I did. Yum!
Dio: Thanks! The little table is a present from Jesse’s mom, who visited last week.
AJ: It depends on who you think I am, haha. Yes, this blog used to be named Sufficient Gift. Glad to have you back!

Daniel: Well, right now the toaster’s liberal ways are a little difficult for the couch, who’s Muslim. I’ll let the furniture decide - let them work it out themselves. The color of the walls is actually a blood orange from Janovic. We actually can’t remember the exact shade!

I think the toaster is at a disadvantage - if it was plugged in, it could demonstrate its many nifty features. As it stands, the couch may rightly wonder what all the fuss is about.

You take the most interesting pictures.

In recent days the toaster’s been put to hard work every morning, though I think the couch deserves the most props for being sat on every day.
Cesar, thanks, good to see you again!
